Certified Accountant Technician

- Higher education in Accounting, Management, Finance or equivalent;
- Registration in the Order of Certified Accountants (mandatory);
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant Technician;
- Experience managing teams (mandatory);
- Knowledge of tax/legal obligations;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office;
- Good English skills;
- Problem solving and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively and manage deadlines;
- Sense of responsibility, commitment and integrity;
- Focus on innovation, dynamism, autonomy and teamwork.
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor and support the accounting and financial control procedures according to the established deadlines;
- Support the preparation, analysis and dissemination of various reports for the different objectives of the Department;
- Monitor the maintenance of information, data and records, in order to provide the status of the accounting condition of the company;
- Provide the accounting elements necessary for defining budgetary policy and support the implementation of the budget;
- Identify improvements that aim at accounting efficiency, cost optimization and risk minimization;
- Prepare audits and ensure that there are no non-conformities;
- Participate in the monthly and annual closure of accounts;
- Manage a team;
- Make the necessary tax returns and other legal, commercial and tax requirements;
- Verify the legal and tax compliance of all documents with accounting value;
- Take proactive initiatives to improve and streamline internal processes.
